Paseo Del Mar - Close to world class beaches and walking distance to the ocean

The house was welcoming and comfortable from the moment we walked in. The property was lovely and quiet. We saw lots of locals--squirrels, jackrabbits, deer, vultures, too many birds to count, abd even a skunk ( at a distance!). The communication was excellent. Location is just a very short hop from downtown, glass beach, and 10 Mile Dunes. We loved it here!

We stayed at this home for a long weekend in January. The property as a whole is perfect for a small group and is ideal for anybody with a dog. The space around the home was maintained well enough to be considered a yard and it was the perfect place to let our dog roam around. Although we did not get to use the fire pit or outdoor patio due to rain, it seemed ideal for use in better weather. The inside of the home itself was well appointed, comfortable, and spacious. In my opinion, the star of the show was the pathway down to the beach. About 1/4-mile from the house is Virgin Creek Beach and a beautiful paved pathway that extends for miles to the north and south. It was great being able to stroll from the house to the beach to get some fresh air and take in the beautiful coastal scenery. We would 100% recommend this rental to anybody and we will be coming back in the future!

Spotlessly clean, well appointed house in a beautiful location. Everything was comfortable, well thought-out and the agency communicated in a really friendly and helpful way. The setting, five minutes down a private path to a gorgeous beach and lovely paved walking/biking trail, was unbeatable. My daughters and I had a great stay and would love to come back someday. Highly recommended!

One of my favorite stays. Amazing location! An easy 5 minute walk to the beach and some wonderful coastal trails. Was walking distance to both Glass Beach (south) and also Laguna Point (north). Both were less than a 30 minute walk from the house. Saw amazing sunsets from the beaches the entire time we were there. Pudding Creek beach was the best beach with our dog. If you enjoy biking definitely bring your bike because there is a bike and walking only road that goes along the entire MacKerricher Park coastline. Very quick drive to downtown Fort Bragg if you need anything. The house was perfect for our family and dog. House feels bigger than it is because of the high ceilings and open living space. Super clean and beds were comfortable. The outdoor patio was private. Could hear road noise on patio but not from inside. A binder of recommendations and instructions were provided. Saw deer, a jack rabbit and a small fox while walking to the beach or sitting around the fire pit.

I loved this place! The house was very clean! The beds were comfortable, and the linens were very soft. It was the perfect size and had everything we needed to cook. We were able to have a fire at the wonderful fire pit. The private pathway down to the ocean was such a splendid surprise. This house was perfect in every way!

This house is an absolute dream! The interior of the house is comfortable and pristine! So clean! High quality linens, comfortable furniture loads of extras (great, we'll equipped kitchen, quality soaps, etc). We tried a bunch of their recommended restaurants and activities and they were 100% spot on. The best thing, though, if all that isn't enough? The location. The lovely walk to the beach, the family of deer that visited us every evening, the family of turkeys that stopped by, all the birds, the gorgeous flowers.... peaceful perfection. We didn't want to leave.

The house is so nice and clean and the trail to the ocean makes this house so perfect! The home has a nice firepit outside so bring some wood! I love how the property is almost fully fenced in so my dogs can run without me being too worried. The location of the home is almost perfect as youre a 5-10 minute drive away from some amazing beaches, shops and resturants. This was my 2nd time staying at this home and ill 100% be back.

Gorgeous house with a fun private trail to the beach. Large lawn area was perfect for the dogs to run and explore. Easy access to the main road and close to all of the downtown shops and restaurants. We will definitely be staying here again.

Such an enjoyable, comfortable and wonderful stay at Paseo Del Mar. We loved the home and the location. It was very peaceful, clean and private with great walking access to the beach and close driving to town and access to all Fort Bragg and Mendocino had to offer. Great hosts and beautiful property. Lovely way to ring in the New Year.

What a great stay! The house is pristine and quiet. It was also well equipped with plenty of spices, cooking oils, and bathroom essentials. There is plenty of room to roam outside, and the fire pit was perfect for smores. A scenic walk to a breathtaking coastal view was amazing. Highly recommend, and we plan to return!

You should stay here! This place is so amazing! The house is comfortable and sparkling clean. Lots of room to roam around and the cutest path down to the beach! We loved being so close and listening to the waves as we sat outside at the fire pit. This house is fully stocked with some cute extras. We loved it and cant wait to come back.

The Paseo Del Mar home in Fort Bragg is beautiful, modern, and so comfortable. It is set in a lovely location close to many great beaches. My family and I loved being able to walk to the beach through the walking trail within the grounds of the home. Thank you so much Carlon and Pacific Blue for your excellent service and great hospitality. This was a trip we will never forget. We definitely want to return in the future.

This listing was wonderful! A great way to get away from the city and get easy access to nature and the ocean. The listing is walking distance to a beach path, which we walked along everyday with our dog. It's a short walk (15-20 minutes) to a dog friendly beach, but there are other beaches (for humans only) within 5 minutes from the house. the bed was super comfortable and all the amenities were great. The local restaurants had great food when we didn't want to cook, and the mostly-fenced yard was perfect for playing with our dog, throwing the frisbee around, or just relaxing and reading. We would definitely stay here again.

Paseo Del Mar is a wonderful place to stay. We were welcomed by a fireplace warming the house, much appreciated on a cool night. The house was impeccably clean and nicely decorated, with a well equipped kitchen. The ocean was a five minute walk away down a path from the back of the property to the Haul Road and the CA Coastal Trail, both of which you can follow along beautiful bluffs to Mackerricher State Park to the north and Pudding Creek Trestletand Fort Bragg to the south. We loved that dogs were welcome a this two acre property, although we had to supervise them when we let them out because the property has no front gate. Sitting around the fire pit in the evening was great as was playing horseshoes on the property, but note that you have to bring your own firewood (easily purchased at a nearby Safeway). Another reviewer complained about noise from Highway 1 and recommended earplugs and a white sound machine, but we didn't find it a problem at all. The property manager was very responsive to questions and feedback. I would definitely stay here again.

They need to get 10 Star instead of 5 . Perfect house , SUPER CLEAN and organized , with all stuff that you will need for your stay . The place has a huge and beautiful yard and its only 3 minutes away from glass beach . Very quiet place in a great neighborhood. All lights , TV , fire place , BBQ and all other stuff were on a great condition and all working . It was easy to communicate with the host and they always there for your needs . If you looking to rent a place on this area , dont hesitate, THIS IS THE BEST !!

This is a newly built home with comfy furniture and great amenities. We usually find it difficult in Fort Bragg to rent a smaller home thats in such great shape. We arrived late to the sound of crashing waves the home is also a few blocks away from a lovely beach! You can walk or just drive 5 minutes north to the state park to enjoy the beach there. Theres also a trail that heads south through the woods to rock outcroppings which overlook the crashing waves below. Just beautiful! Their little side flower garden is lovely to hang out in during the mid afternoon for a late morning coffee or evening glass of wine. We didnt use the fire pit but it looked really well positioned in the yard for an open starry night sky romantic eve when the kids go to bed. The house is situated a yard away from two lane highway 1, so theres weekday car noise in the early am and late eve. If youre from the city it wont bother you. Bring ear plugs and a sound machine for the bedrooms and youll sleep fine. The beds and linens are cozy and comfy; the showers have a wonderful horse tile theme; the hand held shower feature is a plus; the washer/dryer is convenient; the gas stove is a bonus for cooking; the kitchen is fully stocked with new cookware and lovely dishes; the open floor plan is a great bonus for families; the gas fireplace is wonderful. We really appreciate it that they welcome dogs, too! The house is also super clean with no evidence of pet dirt or smell. The communication was too notch and very kind. I highly recommend staying here when in the Fort Bragg area!

Carlon was very helpful with any question and concern that we had. When we checked in, there was an inactive alarm system that kept beeping. I called Carlon, and he came as soon as possible and took care of it. On top of that, the owners had a complimentary pizza delivered to us for the trouble. Carlon was also very considerate and helpful when unfortunately we had some car trouble upon checking out. Our car wouldn't start, and when I informed him of our situation, he told us not to worry and to stay comfortable in the house while we waited for the local tow truck to come. It is very evident that customer service is top priority for Pacific Blue. Carlon is the best!

Fort Bragg in Mendocino County is one of our favorite vacation destinations. Everything from the rugged coastline, the redwood trees, and the small town charm draws us back here over and over again. Our stay at Paseo Del Mar has made this experience even more magical. From the exquisite and treen interior of the house, along with the expansive lot, our family enjoyed every minute of our stay, and wished we never had to leave. Ocean access is just a 5 minute walk away through a private trail. The fire pit is another feature that we enjoyed. Aside from the property and the beautiful location, the customer service we experienced from Pacific Blue is unmatched. They are very responsive and helpful. If you are looking for the perfect vacation house for you and your small family, you cannot go wrong with Paseo Del Mar!
